Ethics & Disclosures

Overview

This page serves as a public-interest records hub for ethics, disclosures, conflicts, recusals, and related accountability documents involving New Kent County public officials and appointed bodies.

The purpose of this page is not to accuse any individual of wrongdoing. The purpose is to make public records easier for citizens to find, review, and understand.

Why This Matters

Ethics and disclosure records help citizens understand whether public officials have reported financial interests, business relationships, property interests, or other matters that may be relevant to public decisions.

A disclosed interest does not automatically mean a conflict exists. These records simply allow citizens to compare public disclosures with public actions, votes, contracts, land-use decisions, appointments, rezonings, and other county business.

Future Records

Additional ethics and disclosure records may be added here as they are received, reviewed, redacted when appropriate, and prepared for public posting.
